Coahoma County Fire Department’s Rescue 1 and Engine 4 were dispatched to the area of Dog Bog Rd & Friarspoint -Hwy 61 Rd to assist EMS crews with securing a safe landing zone for Pafford Air in response to an overturned vehicle with multiple ejections.
Upon arrival, fire department personnel encountered several severely injured patients. Tragically, two victims sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. Another victim was airlifted to an area trauma center.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident. Details surrounding the collision, including the cause, remain under observation.
