Coahoma County, Miss. — On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Coahoma County Sheriff’s Deputies and Coahoma County Fire Rescue responded to a report of an accident involving heavy equipment in the area of 4370 Moon Lake Road.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered a black male, later identified as Willie Frank Page, 59, of Farrell, Mississippi, deceased beneath a cotton harvester.
Preliminary investigation indicates that Mr. Page, an employee of Coahoma Tire Shop, was at the location to replace a tire on the harvester when the equipment reportedly slipped off the supporting blocks, trapping him underneath.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been notified and is assisting the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office as the incident is classified as a workplace fatality.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of Mr. Page during this difficult time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
