YAZOO CITY, Miss.–You saw the rain Saturday. Now you can see the results. That’s hundreds of miles of agricultural land flooded.

Flood warnings are now in effect for the Yazoo River at Yazoo City. Flood stage is at 29 ft. The river was expected to crest Sunday at 32.5 ft.
A flood warning is also in effect for the Big Black River from West, in Holmes County, all the way south to where the river runs into the Mississippi in Warren County. The National Weather Service said Sunday that the Saturday rains had doubled the amount of farmland covered by the Big Black.
No other Delta rivers had flood warnings as of Sunday and you can expect a dry week.
