CLARKSDALE, Miss.–A man who worked as a jailer in Coahoma County for less than a month has been charged with bringing contraband into the jail.
Jeremiah Foster, who went to work at the jail May 5, was fired May 28, when he was caught with pills, vape pens and other controlled substances.
Foster was arrested Friday after a probable cause hearing.
A news release from the sheriff’s department says Foster admitted to the wrongdoing.
