YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A force on the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Dept. for many years died over the weekend. Former lead investigator Tommy Irvine, revered by many members of the community for his talents as a detective and his love for the youth of the county, died Saturday, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Dept.
A cause of death was not listed.
Irvine was originally from Cardwell, Missouri, and also served as an intake officer for the Yazoo County Youth Court.
