GREENVILLE, Miss. — Greenville police have made a fourth arrest in connection with a June 27 shooting behind the Greenville Mall.
Lamarcus Martin was arrested and charged with five counts of aggravated assault, eight counts of shooting at motor vehicles and one count of gang activity, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Police said the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional arrests are expected as investigators continue to follow the evidence.
Chief Marcus R. Turner Sr. commended the officers and investigators working on the case.
“Our message remains clear: when violence threatens the safety of our community, we will work relentlessly to identify those responsible and hold them accountable,” Turner said. “I am proud of our officers and investigators for their continued commitment to Greenville.”
