CLARKSDALE, Miss. – Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center will host a Free Health and Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria located at 1970 Hospital Drive.
The event will feature a range of free health screenings, including flu and COVID vaccines, blood sugar and pressure checks, FibroScan liver screenings, and hearing and vision tests. Attendees can also receive fresh produce, educational materials, and door prizes.
Visitors who collect signatures from at least 12 exhibitors will receive a free meal.
A highlight of the day will be a healthy cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Doreen Colondres, spokesperson for Novo Nordisk.
The event is sponsored by Magnolia Health, Wellcare, Partnership for a Healthier America, and Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
