GPD Investigates Two Separate Shootings Leaving Three Injured

Greenville Police Department (GPD) investigators are currently working on two separate shooting incidents that occurred in the city, leaving three people injured.

The first shooting occurred in the 500 block of North Shelby Street on Monday, March 6th. GPD officers arrived at the scene to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The identities of the victims have not been released, and the details surrounding the incident are still unclear. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

In the second shooting, which occurred on the same day in the area of Arnold Avenue and East Moore Streets, a 20-year-old victim was shot multiple times while on his way home. According to the victim, a black male exited a car and shot at him before fleeing the area. Ambulance personnel quickly transported the victim to the hospital, where he remains in stable but serious condition.

GPD investigators are currently working on leads for both incidents and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The department has not yet released any information on possible suspects or motives in either shooting.
