GREENVILLE, Miss. — The City of Greenville will adjust its garbage and trash pickup schedule next week in observance of Veterans Day.
City offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11. As a result, the Public Works Sanitation Department will shift pickup routes by one day for the remainder of the week.
Monday’s route will run as usual. Tuesday’s route will be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and Wednesday’s route will move to Thursday, Nov. 13. Both Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Friday, Nov. 14.
City officials said the temporary schedule change is intended to ensure services continue in a timely manner during the holiday.
