GREENVILLE, Miss. — Mayor Errick D. Simmons announced the upcoming Greenville College Access and Attainment Network (GCAAN) College Night, set for Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at 6 p.m. The event, which is part of the GCAAN Day 2024 celebrations, will take place at the Percy Library, located at 341 Main Street, Greenville.
Local high school students are invited to attend, where they will have the opportunity to network with peers and enjoy chicken wings provided by Perry’s Original Sho-Nuff. Attendees will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $50 prize.
A representative from a local college will be present to provide information on educational opportunities and resources available to students.
Mayor Simmons encouraged all area high school students to participate in the event, which aims to support college access and attainment for Greenville’s youth.
