GREENVILLE, Miss.–An arrest has been made in a shooting that happened Monday, June 2, in which a woman was hit by flying glass from having a car window shot out.

The call for police was on East Reed Rd., about 8:25 p.m. When they got there they found a woman laying on the ground with what she thought was a gunshot wound.

That woman was taken to Delta Health Systems. While there it became apparent that the wound was not from a bullet, but from flying glass. She told police that her boyfriend had shot at her and that’s how the wound happened.

It was determined the wounds were minor cuts. A warrant was issued for the boyfriend, Keyshon Hope, 19, of Greenville.

Hope was caught Friday and charged with aggravated assault.
