Greenville, Miss. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one man dead late Sunday night.
Around 11 p.m. on December 5, officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to a call about a shooting on the 900 block of South Shelby. Upon arrival, officers discovered 54-year-old Albert Davis Jr. of Greenville inside his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Davis was transported to Delta Health Systems, where he was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.
Investigators are currently combing through evidence and following up on leads in the case. No arrests have been made.
