Police responded to a call about a shot person in the 400 block of North Edison. When officers arrived, they made contact with two people who appeared to have been struck.
Police say 38-year-old Marcus Jones of Greenville died as a result of his injuries, while another male was airlifted. Though it appears the shooting happened due to an altercation, police are still investigating this case.
No arrests have been made.
