Greenville Police Announce Arrest in Thanksgiving Week Murder Case

GREENVILLE, Miss.–An arrest was announced Christmas Eve in a murder that happened Nov. 23, in Greenville.
That’s when Bryant Netters, 43, was found at the intersection of Redbud and Nelson streets, lying on the ground with a bullet wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After their investigation, police have announced the arrest of Sylvester Hall, 52, of Greenville. He’s in the Washington County Regional Jail on a $750,000 bond.
“Our detectives are continuing to work hard and diligently to rid our community of violent offenders. It takes a community effort to make these types of arrests and bring suspects to justice for a grieving family,” said Police Chief Marcus Turner.
