GREENVILLE, Miss. — Greenville police arrested a 19-year-old man Monday after three people reported being shot at while driving on Tennessee Gas Road.

Officers responded early Monday to the 500 block of Tennessee Gas Road after receiving reports of gunfire in the area, the Greenville Police Department said. Witnesses told officers they heard multiple gunshots and saw three males jump from a gray Mercury as they attempted to escape the gunfire.

Investigators later located the victims, who said a Black male suspect opened fire from near an apartment complex as they drove down Tennessee Gas Road. The suspect was reported to be in a blue Nissan of an unknown model.

After further investigation, detectives arrested Jordan Parker, 19, of Greenville. Parker is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and is being held at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting his initial court appearance.
