Authorities in Greenville are investigating a homicide. The incident happened during the early hours of August 16th in the 400 block of Hyman Street. The Greenville Police Department was alerted to the incident after citizens discovered the lifeless body of a black male on the ground, bearing multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Keen Daniels, a resident of Greenville. According to preliminary reports, the incident happened between midnight and 6 a.m.
The Greenville Police Department is asking the public for any information that might aid their investigation.
