GREENVILLE, Miss. — Unofficial results from Greenville’s general election on Monday show several city council races with clear leads as ballots continue to be certified.
In Ward 3, Vernon Greenlee is ahead with 224 votes, defeating Stephen Poole, who received 173 votes.
Ward 4 saw Lurann Thomas-Kingdom run unopposed, receiving 30 votes.
In Ward 5, Bill Brozovich leads with 197 votes, topping Catherine Maxwell-Gardner’s 110 votes.
City officials say results will remain unofficial until the election is certified.
