The Greenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has charged Demarcus Clemons with one count of Statutory Rape. Clemons is being held in the Washington County Correctional Facility on other charges, along with this current charge.
Clemons is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Greenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division arrest Richard Berryhill in the November 27, 2021 shooting death of Christopher Cooper that occurred in the 1300 block of East John Street. Berryhill is charged with First-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is currently being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility on a $250,000 bond.
Berryhill is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Officers with the Greenville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit arrest Joseph Elbert Johnson on Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Domestic Assault, Misdemeanor Possession of Scheduled 2 and 3 Controlled Substances, and Poss. Of Paraphernalia. Johnson also has a Hold for the Mississippi Department of Corrections. The Special Ops Unit conducted this traffic stop in the 2600 block of Highway 1 South where Johnson was a passenger of the vehicle. Johnson is being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility.
Johnson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
