Grenada Man Charged with Threatening to Bomb Government Building in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss.–A man from Grenada is accused of threatening to blow up a government building in Tupelo.

Tupelo Police identified him Monday as Tommy Poole, 27.

It was unclear from police what agency or building Poole is said to have threatened to blow up. But, police said the incident happened on Saddle Creek Dr. According to police Poole left a message with a threat July 17.

He was booked into jail last week. Poole is charged with making a terroristic threat.
