WALLS, Miss.–A head-on wreck killed a woman from Memphis and injured another Saturday night in DeSoto County.
According to the Mississippi Highway PatrolA Toyota Camry that was being driven by Lee Surall, 57, of Memphis, hit a 2022 Honda Insight being driven by Sheila Mannings, 73, also of Memphis.
The happened about 10:50 p.m. on Hwy. 178.
Surall was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mannings was taken to the hospital. Her injuries were described as “moderate”.
