The Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, Turner Chapel AME Church, and Plan A Health will host a health and wellness fair on December 3, 2021.

The health and wellness fair will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Turner Chapel AME Church, located at 719 Walthal Street, Greenwood, MS. Attendees will have access to blood pressure and glucose screenings, HIV tests, and mammogram referrals. COVID 19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) and booster shots will be available.

Information on Rental Assistance for Mississippians Program (RAMP-ERA) and various health topics will be presented. Individuals receiving COVID-19 vaccines are eligible to win a $50 VISA gift card.

The Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health was established in 2019 to reduce health disparities among disadvantaged and underserved minority populations in the Mississippi through the development of collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders and the implementation of evidence-based public health interventions with a particular focus on health equity.
