MEMPHIS, TN (Ben Caxton) — A Horn Lake man has been sentenced to federal prison for kidnapping and raping six women in Tennessee. 46-year-old Michael Love received six life sentences and an additional 20 years in prison for attempting to rape a seventh woman. Between 2008 and 2015 Love traveled from Mississippi to Tennessee to kidnap women and force them to have sex before abandoning them in a deserted part of Memphis. His victims reported the rapes to police but the cases were not linked until Love was arrested in 2015 and DNA was taken. Love also faces open cases in Shelby County court.
