Dr. Katie Taylor, MSDH’s Deputy State Epidemiologist, began her involvement in public health early in life.
Even as a medical student, she was a core volunteer at the Jackson Free Clinic for the Homeless, helping provide medical services where they were needed most.
The Free Clinic is now celebrating 20 years of service in the Jackson area.
