CLEVELAND, Miss. – A juvenile was injured Tuesday night in a shooting in Bolivar County, authorities said.
Deputies with the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire around 8:30 p.m. on July 22 in the 1000 block of Newsome Avenue. When they arrived, deputies were told a juvenile had been shot in the hand.
The victim was taken to Bolivar Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
