Subway District Manager Lisa Williams called for help when she heard the cries of a distressed kitten coming from a drain by the Subway at 1632 Highway 1 South. Acting quickly, Williams contacted the fire department, setting the rescue in motion.
Rescue 7 wasted no time and brought their tools to open the drain, creating a way to reach the trapped kitten. With great care, the firefighters used a ladder to enter the four-foot hole and save the frightened feline. Their expertise and determination ensured the kitten’s safety.
