LELAND, Miss.–Life in prison plus 25 years was the sentence for Clemell Bogan, Jr., for the 2020 murder of Michael Harvey in Leland.
The sentence was handed down Thursday after a three-day trial in which Bogan was found guilty of first degree murder and aggravated assault.
The 25 years, to be served concurrently with the life sentence, is for shooting at someone else during the fatal attack on Harvey, and also for having a gun illegally.
