MOUND BAYOU, Miss. — The City of Mound Bayou experienced low water pressure earlier Thursday after a main water line break temporarily shut down the water supply, officials said.
City leaders said the issue has since been repaired, and water service has been restored. Maintenance crews and licensed plumbers worked quickly to resolve the problem.
Residents are urged to report any water leaks that may still be visible in their area.
A boil water notice remains in effect until further notice. City officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
