CLARKSDALE, Miss. — A 19-year-old man was killed in a weekend shooting in Coahoma County, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a call Saturday, Aug. 23, about a person shot on Bruister Road, according to the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office. Bystanders directed deputies to a nearby field at Prairie Place and Gibbons Roads, where they found a disabled red vehicle and a gunshot victim.
The victim, identified as Keyshawn Hunt of Como, Mississippi, was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Witnesses reported the shooters were in a black Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.
The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible. Anyone with information is urged to call 662-624-2411. Callers may remain anonymous.
