Man Wanted in Tate County Shooting

TATE COUNTY, Miss.–Firing shots at deputies is the reason Kenneth Ray Graham, 60, was wanted in Tate County. He was caught just before 10 Sunday morning, according to a post from Sheriff Luke Shepherd.

“I am thankful for the deputy’s hard work, diligence and perseverance during this ordeal while enduring less than ideal weather conditions,” said Shepherd in a Facebook post, which also had a picture of Graham in custody.
Shepherd did not give details about the incident that perpetuated the search for Graham.
“It is never a good day to receive a call about shots fired at law enforcement, but I am thankful no one was injured. We are grateful for DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, Senatobia Police Department, and all of our local volunteer firemen for their response and backup to our deputies. Ultimately, everything was resolved peacefully, and that is always the goal,” he said.
