MOUNT PLEASANT, Miss.–An argument that started Tuesday spilled over into Wednesday, when a man was shot several times outside of the plant at Pallet Source, Inc., which is in Mount Pleasant, which is in Marshall County.
Sheriff Kenny Dickerson said the victim was flown to Region One Hospital in Memphis. He declined to release the victim’s name.
Dickerson told reporters the man responsible for the shooting had a gun in his backpack when he was caught. He believes the man kept the gun hidden in the backpack during the shooting, shooting through the material.
The sheriff also declined to release the accused shooter’s name.
