Greenville, MS – Mayor Errick D. Simmons has announced the opening of the Mayor Errick D. Simmons Greenville College Access and Attainment Network (GCAAN) Scholarship for graduating high school seniors in Greenville. The scholarship, valued at $1,000, is available to students from public, private, and parochial schools, reinforcing the city’s commitment to expanding college access.
Established in 2021 under Mayor Simmons’ leadership, GCAAN aims to promote a college-going culture in Greenville and reduce financial barriers for students seeking higher education. The scholarship is open to students planning to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in Mississippi.
The application deadline is April 18, 2025. Students can apply online at https://greenvillems.org/
