MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College is set to welcome students back to campus for the start of the Fall 2025 semester with a full schedule of events and activities.
On Friday, Aug. 15, students moving into campus housing will arrive at residence halls, marking the start of the academic year. That same day, new students will gather for Student Convocation, a long-standing MDCC tradition that offers words of encouragement from campus leaders and connects them to the Trojan community.
Classes will begin Monday, Aug. 18, at all MDCC locations in Moorhead, Greenwood and Greenville. Online eLearning courses will start a week later, on Aug. 25.
Registration for the semester remains open through Aug. 19. Late registration will be available Aug. 18–19, allowing students to enroll, adjust schedules, and seek assistance from academic advisors.
To help students settle in, MDCC’s Student Services will host “Welcome Week” from Aug. 18–21. The series of events will provide opportunities for students to meet new people, get involved in campus life, and ease into the new semester.
