GREENVILLE, Miss.–Miss Greenville High School has decided to go to Belhaven University in Jackson, Courtney Adams made the announcement Monday, as did many standout athletes around the state.
“I’m just excited to see her do well,” said her father upon the announcement in Greenville. “We know that she’s gonna do well at the next level at Belhaven.
“Now it’s time for our kids to start their own legacy and it starts right here,” said Athletic Coordinator MarKeith Washington.
He said he believes it is the job of coaches and teachers to prepare students for their careers by giving them their foundational education.
