VAIDEN, Miss.–The story of a 12-year-old girl kidnapped Sunday in North Carolina ended in the eastern part of the Delta, at least part of it. The girl was found by Carroll County deputies in the cab of a semi at a truck stop in Vaiden.
Those deputies got a tip about the girl and searched trucks at the 35/55 Truck Stop, along I-55. Once they found the girl they arrested Randall Donovan Taylor, 35, of Columbus, S.C.
Taylor now faces a long list of federal, state and local charges. In Carroll County he’s charged with possession of child pornography and with molesting the girl.
Sheriff Clint Walker reminds you to keep a close eye on your kids because of how quickly sexual predators can act.
