JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Black Women’s Roundtable is hosting a Mothers and Infants Service Providers Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 12, as part of its ongoing work to address maternal health disparities in the state.
In addition to the meeting, the organization will conduct a focus group at 6 p.m. the same evening for women who are currently pregnant or who have given birth within the past year. The focus group will gather testimony and lived experiences related to access to healthcare and supportive services. Participants will receive a $50 incentive.
The Mississippi Black Women’s Roundtable is asking community organizations and service providers to help identify women interested in taking part.
Registration is available online, and space is limited: https://form.jotform.com/253085929530058
