The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 32 in Bolivar County on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at approximately 1:37 p.m.
A 2001 Ford Ranger driven by 59-year-old Undra Perry of Shelby, MS, traveled west on Highway 32 when it collided with a 2015 Nissan Altima driven by 67-year-old Ira Usry, of Rosedale, MS, traveling east on Highway 32. Undra Perry received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
Ira Usry and passengers Jasmine Shaw, 29, Caison Shaw, 6, Mason Shaw, 6, and Stephanie Shaw, 46, all of Rosedale, received moderate injuries from the crash.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
