Mississippi Valley State University Recognized as Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leader

Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) has been named a Fulbright Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Institutional Leader for 2023. This recognition comes from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), which annually honors select HBCUs for their active participation in the Fulbright Program.

Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leaders are vital in supporting and promoting Fulbright exchange participants within their institutions. The initiative encourages administrators, faculty, and students at HBCUs, like MVSU, to actively engage with the Fulbright Program.

Mississippi Valley State University has been consistently featured in each of the four years of this prestigious initiative.
