Greenville Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Friday morning, November 29, which left one woman dead and another person injured. Officers responded to Delta Health Systems just after 2:30 a.m. in reference to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found two victims being treated in the Emergency Room.
According to investigators, the shooting took place in the 2400 block of Highway 82 East, near the Alon gas station. A male and female, whose identities have not been released, were transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle. The male victim was treated and released, but 27-year-old Sandra Kay Daniels of Greenville later died from her injuries.
The case remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (662) 378-TIPS or through the P3 app. Information leading to an arrest may result in a reward of up to $2,000.
