MOUND BAYOU, Miss.–Being a convicted felon and getting caught with a gun comes with a heavy price for a man from Mound Bayou.
Dennis Coleman, 44, will spend 74 months, or more than six years in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to being a convicted felon with a firearm.
That sentence was handed down this week in Greenville.
Coleman’s case was investigated by the Miss. Bureau of Narcotics, the Bolivar county Sheriff’s Dept., and Cleveland Police, according to a news release.
