OXFORD, Miss.–An Oxford woman has been arrested and charged with posting a video to social media to cause harm. Oxford PD said in a news release that Aliyah Brown, 27, had been warned about posting the video of a fight.
Brown was previously arrested and convicted and posting the video was also a violation of the terms of her release.
The fight depicted in the video happened in June and police indicated that Brown had had an ongoing beef with someone. But, it wasn’t clear if it was the same person in the fight video.
She was arrested last week during a traffic stop.
