GREENVILLE, Miss. — A 77-year-old man was airlifted for treatment Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle on Washington Avenue, police said.
Greenville officers responded to the 800 block of Washington Avenue around 8 p.m. on Aug. 27 and found the victim lying in the roadway.
The man’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of family members. His condition was not immediately available.
Police said additional details will be released as the investigation continues.
