The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 49 in Humphreys County involving a pedestrian.
A Ford F-250, driven by an unknown driver, traveled north on Highway 49W when the vehicle collided
with 22-year-old Sidney Burrough of Bentonia, MS. Burrough was walking around his vehicle after crashing on Highway 49W.
Sidney Burrough received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
