GRENADA, Miss.–A young person was killed in a UTV accident Valentine’s Day afternoon, said the Grenada County Sheriff’s Dept.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Rolling Oaks Dr., which is just south of Grenada Lake and east of I-55. When deputies got there several people were trying to help the kids who were hurt. The news release did not name the victims or give their ages.
When EMTs got there, they also tried to help. One juvenile died on the scene.
“This is a vry tragic and unfortunate event that will affect our communities and our county,” said the release. “Our sincerest condolences go out to the family of the deceased.”
The sheriff’s department did not say exactly what happened.
