HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss.–It was still unclear whether two murder scenes in which two people were found dead Saturday in Holly Springs were connected.
The first murder was discovered at a Circle K on Hwy. 7 about 6 a.m. A man, as yet not identified publicly, was discovered dead from a gunshot, and the suspects were seen leaving in a small white SUV.
The second person found dead was a woman, discovered in the backseat of a car after a wreck on West Boundary Street. That woman had been shot several times.
Police had also not identified the woman publicly.
Both Holly Springs Police and the Marshal County Sheriff’s Office were asking for tips on who might be responsible and if the shootings are related.
