Greenville Mayor’s Youth Council will host a social media campaign called Random Acts of Kindness Week during the week of Thanksgiving. Several weeks ago, Miss Mississippi Teen Nataleigh Nix stopped by the Mayor’s Office to ask Mayor Simmons to proclaim November 19th-25th as Random Acts of Kindness Week to encourage everyone to be kind to one another. Each day during the week of November 19th-25th will have a different theme to remind people to be selfless and not selfish. The themes for each day are as follows:
• Sunday, November 19th: Thank Your Pastor or Religious Leader Day
• Monday, November 20th: Community Clean-Up Day
• Tuesday, November 21st: Elderly Appreciation Day
• Wednesday, November 22nd: Let Someone Go Before You In Line Day
• Thursday, November 23rd: Be Thankful Day
• Friday, November 24th: Give Someone a Sincere Compliment Day
• Saturday, November 25th: Post an Encouraging Quote on Facebook Day
