MADRID, SPAIN (Ben Caxton) — On Saturday Governor Tate Reeves declared a state of emergency due to coronavirus in the state. Reeves says he will work from home for two weeks after returning from a family trip to Spain where there have been over 6000 infections and nearly 200 deaths. For most people coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms like fever and cough but for older adults and people with existing health problems, the illness can be more severe including pneumonia. Reeves urged state employees to work from home if possible and called on churches not to hold in-person services on Sunday.
