Greenville, Miss. — A 52-year-old Hollandale man has been arrested for burglary after a break-in at the Double Quick convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to an alarm activation at the store, located at 598 Highway 1 North, around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the front door glass had been shattered, and an assortment of cigarettes had been stolen.
Police quickly located the suspect, later identified as Eric Jackson, in the 400 block of Redbud Street. Jackson was arrested without incident and charged with commercial burglary.
During questioning, Jackson admitted to committing several previous burglaries at the same store. He was transported to the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody, awaiting bond.
