The intersection of Eastman Street and Cypress Avenue in Greenwood will be closed Friday, Jan. 23, from noon to 3 p.m. for the groundbreaking ceremony of a new high school.
The closure will extend approximately 500 yards in both directions along Cypress Avenue from Eastman Street. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the closure to avoid traffic delays.
City officials thanked the public in advance for their cooperation.
