In response to a brawl among team members during a football game against Rosa Fort High School, the West Bolivar Consolidated School District has quickly removed the entire coaching staff at Shaw High School.
As a result of the incident, all football activities, including practices, conditioning, and games, have been suspended until further notice.
In an official statement, the district expressed deep concern for student safety and assured parents, students, and the community that they are taking this matter seriously. The statement read, “We are deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of our students and take these incidents seriously.”
Eric Henry has been named the Interim Head Football Coach to lead the team during this challenging time.
