Clarksdale police swiftly responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Lynn Street. Following an investigation, it was revealed that the residence had been fired into, resulting in the homeowner being struck in the foot by a bullet. Joseph McClenton, 26 years old, was promptly arrested during a traffic stop. McClenton faces charges of two counts of aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling. He is currently held at the Coahoma County Justice Complex, awaiting an initial court appearance.
